I want my film to inspire but to also let the viewer ask questions about the film and about social norms. Also, how my ideas process comes into play most with film scores and the story or the idea comes together in some shape or form.
I would like to shoot in various locations such as deep in a inner city such as DC And Baltimore. Also, a large high school with classrooms and a office, with a tiny apartment really e a poverty stricken area.
Joseph Campbell discovered how the world tells stories. Ever story almost always has a hero, someone the audience can relate to and feel a connection with instantly. Campbell also found the structure on how we tell stories with a beginning, middle, and end. The foundation of stories from across the world all had the same construct and foundation. Dee is the main character of the ladder Project she is a bright light in a dark world. She is an average student that longs to break the family curse of living in a poverty reckon inner - city with her mother who cares little about Dee future because she gave up on her a long time ago. Dee is a African American woman who love photography and believes in taken photos that sheds light on the world around her and communicates her feelings through the art of photography.
