The Ladder Project

Currently I am starting to put together the construct of my story and the characters themselves.

So far I have my main protagonist Dee who is on a journey of self discovery and independence of self.
She has various obstacle such as her mother who care little to nothing about her daughter future

Easton High school an over populated and under funded high school where Dee is one in a million

And the low poverty area in the city where she was raised, does not push her any closer towards pursuing her dream of attending college due to financial stress.

This is the starting foundation of the story and soon to be fleshed out and given more detail.

Main Character Description

Dee is the main character of the ladder Project she is a bright light in a dark world. She is an average student that longs to break the family curse of living in a poverty reckon inner - city with her mother who cares little about Dee future because she gave up on her a long time ago. Dee is a African American woman who love photography and believes in taken photos that sheds light on the world around her and communicates her feelings through the art of photography.
